Inside Next Success: What We're Helping Amazon Brands Solve Right Now

Next Success helps Amazon brands with listing optimization, advertising strategy, and cross-border expansion on Amazon.ca and Amazon.com.

Every two weeks, we like to step back from the day-to-day activity and share some of the trends we’re seeing across the brands we work with.

While every business is unique, it’s interesting how many of the same conversations keep coming up. Whether we’re working with established manufacturers, emerging brands, or companies expanding into new marketplaces, the priorities are surprisingly similar.

As we move through the second half of the year, here are some of the areas we’re helping clients focus on.

Preparing for Prime Big Deal Days and the Holiday Season

Although the holiday shopping season may seem months away, the planning starts now. We’re already working with brands to review their promotional strategies, optimize product listings, prepare advertising campaigns, and ensure inventory is positioned for Amazon’s busiest months. The brands that begin planning in July and August are typically much better prepared when traffic and demand increase later in the year.

Maintaining Listing Health and Compliance

One of the biggest challenges on Amazon isn’t always generating more traffic—it’s making sure products remain available for customers to purchase.

Recently, we’ve been helping brands resolve listing suppressions, compliance requests, catalog issues, and product detail page problems. Even small issues can impact visibility and sales if they aren’t addressed quickly.

Maintaining a healthy catalog remains one of the most important parts of long-term success on Amazon.

Improving Product Content

Competition continues to increase across nearly every category.

That’s why we’re spending a significant amount of time helping brands strengthen their product pages with better titles, optimized bullet points, enhanced images, A+ Content, Premium A+ Content, Brand Stories, comparison charts, and updated Brand Stores.

Excellent content doesn’t just improve the customer experience—it helps build confidence and increase conversion.

Learning from Prime Day

Prime Day provides valuable insights that extend well beyond the event itself.

We’re reviewing advertising performance, promotional results, customer behavior, and sales trends with our clients to identify what worked well and where improvements can be made. Those lessons are already helping shape strategies for Prime Big Deal Days, Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and the holiday season.

Planning Inventory Before It’s Too Late

Inventory planning is becoming increasingly important.

Running out of stock during a major shopping event can result in lost sales and reduced momentum, while carrying too much inventory can create unnecessary costs.

Working with clients to forecast demand and prepare replenishment plans today helps avoid difficult decisions later in the year.

Supporting Cross-Border Growth

Another trend we’re seeing is an increase in cross-border expansion.

Canadian brands are exploring opportunities to grow on Amazon.com, while more U.S. brands are looking at Amazon.ca as an attractive way to expand into the Canadian market.

Successful expansion requires much more than copying listings and shipping products across the border. Each marketplace has its own compliance requirements, logistics, pricing strategies, customer expectations, and advertising considerations. For many U.S. brands, Canada also introduces bilingual content requirements and marketplace-specific regulations.

With the right planning, cross-border expansion can be a key driver of long-term growth.

Looking Ahead

One thing we’ve learned over the years is that Amazon’s success rarely comes from one major change.

Instead, it’s built through hundreds of small improvements—stronger product content, healthier listings, better advertising, smarter inventory planning, proactive compliance management, and a willingness to continually adapt as Amazon evolves.

That’s exactly what our team is focused on every day. As we continue through the second half of 2026, we’re excited to help our clients prepare for the opportunities ahead.
